Sing Sang Sung

Pity the English learner

Seven people holding letters spelling “English”

If sing in the past becomes sang
And the perfect in turn is then sung,
If the past tense of ring must be rang
And the perfect form has to be rung,
Then why is it, last week, I dang not my car,
And why has it never been dung?
