I live in a world where
some companies value product quality over cost cutting,
knowing that discerning customers will pay the price.
Apple, despite their faults, is one such company.
I dream of a world where
all companies value quality.

I live in a world where
some faith leaders honor and appreciate leaders of other faiths,
though disagreeing on the details.
N.T. Wright, despite his faults, is one such faith leader.
I dream of a world where
all faiths coexist in peace.

I live in a world where
some people are happy as workers, know they have no talent for management,
and never fight for promotion.
I, despite my faults, am one of those people.
I dream of a world where
only true leaders seek to lead.

I live in a world where
the child of a black woman and a white man hears mention of her black mother
and says, “My mommy’s not black”, because she had not noticed.
