Winter Roses

Be a rose

A red rose covered by snow and ice during a rare south Texas snow storm
Photo by Steve Upham during a rare south Texas snow storm

Roses in snowstorms don’t lose hope
or cry in pain that they just can’t cope,
don’t slink away to warmer climes,
with plans to return in better times,
never complain about their duty,
just double down on showing beauty.
